We are glad to inform you that Calidona’s new golf course, Corvera Golf Club, will open on 18th January 2010. The course is operated by the same company as Roda Golf Resort, a firm favourite of our golfers.
The resort features a PGA affliated championship 18 hole golf course designed by Spanish golfer José Maria Olazabal and will be a par 72 set within 70 hectares suitable for hosting international competitions. The Director of Golf is Sam Torrance.
There will also be a PGA golf academy on Corvera offering the opportunity for residents to learn or improve their game.
Situated in a stunning location at the edge of the Sierra de Carrascoy mountains, a protected National Park, the development consists of luxury apartments and villas located near to the town of Corvera, just 30 minutes from the Mar Menor and Mazarron and only 20 minutes from the fascinating city of Murcia. Murcia (San Javier) airport is 30 minutes away whilst Alicante airport is 50 minutes away.
