2010 Bargain Golf Housing
I was sent a copy of this article from a from a friend recently after talking about whether to buy here in Spain or continue to rent until we see which way the market goes. My father bought a two bed townhouse in an urbanisation called Mar Azul very close to a small town called Torrevieja in the late 80’s when there wasn’t much around this area at all for the princely sum of £10,000.We watched over the years as these house prices rose disportionately to what we believed the house to be worth( we sold it years ago).

La Finca part of the Quara group have recently opened a 5 star Hotel. The hotel overlooks the excellent La Finca golf course which is a firm favourite of many of our golfers.The team there led by Salvador Lucas are always happy to help and we have had many golfers telling us of how well they were look after at La Finca.
La Finca has generally been in the top 5 courses when our golfers come to this area .The course was opened in 2002 and has been developed to challenge many of our best golfers and still extremely playable for beginners.
The course is long and has many water features and when we play there we take extra balls and of course a buggy. There are lakes amd natural running waterfalls which add to the atmosphere as do the many species of bird from magnificent peacocks to many species of duck.
