Spanish speed limit reduced

As of Monday 7th March, the speed limit on motorways has been reduced to 110km/h.
The move was announced last week as part of 20 approved measures to try and save energy as a precautionary measure due to the growing unrest in some of the world’s largest oil-producing countries.

Amateur Golf Tournaments in Spain

 The other half- Steven is a bit miffed.
He is a low handicap golfer and we moved to Spain to start a golf business which has not in all seriousness given much spare time to actually play competition golf,he hasn’t played tournament golf for 16 years.
H
e was over the moon to qualify in the final of the Ballantine Blue golf Tournament on 23rd October at Hacienda del Alamo with prizes advertised to the value of 50,000€. There was mention of a car, holidays and quality golf equipment looked like a great incentive to take part!.

Costa Blanca Golf Bookings for 2009

Interestingly enough booking golf for 2009 has some challenges. In many golf courses advance bookings for next year are simply no problem and we can do this at clydegrovegolfspain.com with ease, however I stumbled across two in the Torrevieja area of Costa Blanca that have a non-user friendly policy for advanced bookings.
