Many of our golfers have been enjoying some tremendous savings on green fees over the past few months. It is a must for everyone to save some cents/pennies when they can and the golf courses in the area have been helping to do this over the winter months.

The golf swing involves actions that are not common in day-to-day activities; this is because of the way the golfer has to stand to the ball. The golfer not only bends over from the waist, he also stands at the right angle to the target. This is the reason many people find it difficult to master the golf swing. It is, however, possible to develop it. This is possible by performing simple golf training drills to prime the body for these unusual movements.

 Steven recently took some golfing cronies to try the new Golf course  in Murcia unfortunately due to torrential rain they had to play elsewhere.

 The other half- Steven is a bit miffed.
He is a low handicap golfer and we moved to Spain to start a golf business which has not in all seriousness given much spare time to actually play competition golf,he hasn’t played tournament golf for 16 years.
He was over the moon to qualify in the final of the Ballantine Blue golf Tournament on 23rd October at Hacienda del Alamo with prizes advertised to the value of 50,000€. There was mention of a car, holidays and quality golf equipment looked like a great incentive to take part!.

  We were recently fortunate to be invited to play a brand new addition to the excellent golf courses in this region.
Las Colinas Golf and Country Club opened in June 2010 and we believe will prove to be a worthy addition to the various challenging courses in the Costa Blanca.

For many who are back in Scotland and the rest of the UK reading this , may think whats’ the problem?! bit of sunshine never hurt anyone- not true. The temperatures we are experiencing at the moment can be dangerous to many- especially young children ,babies and the elderly and you can never be too careful.
