Golfing Season 2010
The demand for golf in certain months is very high and we are
asking all our golfers if they are ready to commit to booking their
golf trip. If they can book their flights as quickly as possible
as tee times and in some cases accommodation is becoming scarce
on the ground.

Courses in Great Condition
We have been over to look at a few of the courses after the winter
months and can report that the following are in tip top condition:

La Serena - the best it's been in a long time
Roda - unfailing quality
Peraleja - jewel in the crown
Las Ramblas,Campoamor and Villamartin - all playing well.
La Finca - tiptop shape, a firm favourite.

Swedish Golfers
We recently had a group of golfers from Sweden who left
temperatures in the minus figures. Played a few of our courses
their feedback - "great time was had by all"

Corvera UPDATE
As mentioned before we try to keep you updated on the progress of
new courses. Speaking to the team at Roda they tell us that
Corvera looks like it will be nearer June before the course is
open to the public.

Worst Golfing Attire
Saw an article on NBC sport web site asking readers to share
pictures of their worst golfing attire and just for a laugh we

High Speed Train
REGIONAL public works councillor, Mario Flores, has announced that
the arrival of the AVE high speed train into the town could be a
reality within eight years.
Sr Flores, accompanied by the director general for transport,
ports and coasts, Vicente Dómine, made his announcement on a visit
to the Partido Popular headquarters in the town on Monday.

Life begins at 40...
Spain's Miguel Angel Jiménez courageously edged out the European
No1 Lee Westwood at the third play-off hole to win the Dubai
Desert Classic.

Jiménez has now won nine of his 16 European Tour titles in his
40s, and is the oldest player to win on the circuit since Mark
O'Meara prevailed in Dubai in 2004 at the age of 47.
